The Shadow Electric Terms and Conditions

The Shadow Electric is Publica Pty Ltd ACN 147 672 348.

The following terms and conditions apply to all persons who purchase tickets or attend any session of The Shadow Electric.

Terms of Sale

Tickets to The Shadow Electric are subject to the following terms and conditions.

  • All ticket prices for The Shadow Electric are inclusive of GST.

  • All ticket sales purchased for The Shadow Electric are final at the time of sale and non-transferable, unless the event is cancelled or rescheduled as specified in these terms.

  • There will be no refunds given for any tickets purchased for The Shadow Electric.

  • If a session is cancelled or terminated due to adverse weather conditions, tickets will be converted to a voucher for the same ticket type/class, redeemable for another session during the remainder of that season. Vouchers will be subject to capacity and entry will not be guaranteed.

  • If a session is cancelled or terminated due to technical or mechanical issues, or circumstances outside The Shadow Electric’s control, tickets will be converted to a voucher for the same ticket type/class, redeemable for another session during the remainder of that season. Use of vouchers for a session will always be subject to capacity and entry cannot be guaranteed.

  • Notification of cancellation or termination of a session will be provided on the The Shadow Electric website at the earliest opportunity. We are not liable for any losses suffered by you as a result of a session cancellation.

  • Exchanges will not be made for a mistaken or accidental booking of the wrong session.

  • The Shadow Electric reserves the right to add, withdraw, reschedule or substitute movie titles. The Shadow Electric reserves the right to vary advertised prices and seating arrangements or venue capacity without notice.

  • Entry may be refused if tickets are damaged or defaced, not purchased at an authorised The Shadow Electric point of sale, or, where applicable, not accompanied by valid identification matching the named ticket purchaser. Even if there is proof of purchase, lost tickets may not be replaced or reissued.

  • The Shadow Electric reserves the right to charge patrons for lost or damaged tickets.

  • If patrons arrive late to a screening, The Shadow Electric reserves the right to make patrons wait until a suitable point during the movie for entry.

Privacy and access
  • Personal information obtained via The Shadow Electric website will be maintained according to The Shadow Electric “Privacy Policy” available on this website.

  • The Shadow Electric may refuse a person/s access to the website at their discretion.

  • A search of person or possessions may be required at the time of entry to the Venue. Prohibited items will be confiscated by The Shadow Electric. The Shadow Electric accepts no responsibility for confiscated items.
Variation
  • The Shadow Electric reserves the right to vary these terms as reasonably necessary at their discretion without notice.

Conditions of Entry
  • Entry to The Shadow Electric is subject to the attendee holding a valid ticket purchased at an authorised point of sale.

  • Entry is not guaranteed for persons who have not booked a specific session, including but not limited to persons holding gift vouchers or complimentary passes.

  • The Shadow Electric reserves the right to refuse entry to the venue to any person at their unfettered discretion.

  • As The Shadow Electric is held in a licensed venue, patrons must be 18+ years old, unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.

  • The venue is licensed and catered. There is to be strictly no glass, no drinks (alcoholic or otherwise) and no food brought onto the venue premises.

  • Patrons agree to be bound by the rules of the venue, and any Victorian liquor license rules applicable to the site.

  • Persons holding gift vouchers may redeem the vouchers on The Shadow Electric website.

  • Persons may not remove or damage property or vegetation of the venue, within or outside cinema premises.

  • Patrons must remain within permitted areas of the cinema site.

  • Open flames are not permitted on the cinema site.

  • The Shadow Electric reserves right to eject any person who is intoxicated, or causing disturbance to other patrons or staff. If patrons are ejected on such a basis, tickets will not be refunded or exchanged.

Liability
  • To the full extent permitted by the law neither The Shadow Electric nor of their employees, contractors or partners accepts any liability for injury, damages, expenses or loss whatsoever (whether direct or consequential) to persons or property arising from or in connection with your attendance at The Shadow Electric. You agree to indemnify The Shadow Electric for any loss or damage suffered by The Shadow Electric as a result of your actions or conduct without limitation.

Personal Information
  • It is our usual practice to collect personal information directly from you. Sometimes we collect personal information from a third party if you have consented or would reasonably expect us to collect the information in this way, for example from publicly available sources such as websites or telephone directories. We do not collect personal information about you if you only browse this website. This website only uses session cookies during a search query of the website. When you close your browser the session cookie is destroyed and no personal information is kept which might identify you to us in the future.

Uses
  • We only use your personal information for the purposes for which you give it to us and for related, internal management purposes. We will not use your personal information to market to you unless we have either your implied or express consent.
